1962 MGA MK2. What a gem of a car!! 1962 was the last year of the MGA and the only year of the MK. The differences from the MK1 included a large 1622 CC engine with an upgraded cylinder head producing 90 HP, a new grill, and larger taillights.
This car just came out of a 45 year ownership! The car is extremely straight and rust free. The Old English White paint is very good for its age. The car was repainted 20 years or so ago, but still shines and looks great. The black seats with white piping are excellent. The carpet shows some wear and thetonneau is very good. The soft top needs to be replaced, buy the top bows and side curtains are very good.
The car has been driven for a few years so it will need some mechanical refreshing. It runs and drives, but we would recommend a complete mechanical an safety check. The front calipers have been rebuilt and the rear drums are fresh.
Look at the rocker panels and underside of this rust-free super-correct MGA!
It is difficult to find matching number, rust free cars these days.
