Legacy Motorcars offers this beautifully restored 62 Austin Healey 3000 MK11, BT7 Roadster. This is truly automotive art, the lines of this graceful car with the chrome wire wheels, the front badge bar with working Lucas lights, rare rear chrome Amco luggage rack, front mesh headlamp covers, make this car a pleasure to the eyes and more important, to drive! This car is a frame off restoration done a few years ago of a very rare 3-carb car finished in Colorado Red, the original color. 1962 was the last year of the 3000 roadster as these cars went to roll up windows in mid 1962. With only 5,096 made for the world market they are very desirable because of the lighter weight and the end of the era for the true roadster. The engine and gearbox were rebuilt at the time of restoration and along with the overdrive still function as new. The car is equipped with soft top and frame, correct sliding windows with storage bag, tonneau cover with rare horizontal supports, tool kit, spare wire wheel, knock off hammer, and a Moto-lita wood steering wheel (with the original as well). Full detailing of the car along with a fresh mechanical check was done 200 miles ago which included new brakes.
